Ernest To Be Circumcised Again After Big Brother Amplified?

Ernest Wasake, Uganda’s Big Brother 6 representative might pocket just 75% of the $200,000 at stake, if he ever wins the Africa’s reality show currently airing on DSTV.

After the mighty Red Pepper unveiled Ernest Wasake recently, Bagisu elders read the story word by word and picked interest in the cunning Big Brother representative. To be precise, their point of interest is how Wasake eluded Imbalu (circumcision ritual) for two and half decades, and the tricks he employed to avoid feeling the pain of the knife.

When unveiling Wasake, we wrote how on his circumcision day, he smuggled in a hired nurse who stealthy administered anesthesia jabs on his dongle shortly before facing the wrath of the knife. That meant he never felt pain yet Bagisu culture demands that it is that intense pain of the knife, which actually turns a boy into a man. Therefore, according to experts in Imbalu culture, Wasake’s circumcision is interpreted as null and void.

To this effect, Bagisu die-hard traditionalists have demanded that Wasake be circumcised afresh without the aid of anesthesia. Some of the elders have gone ahead and started planning on how to ambush and re-circumcise the Big Brother representative along Entebbe road, when he is returning from South Africa.

However, a cross section of the elders are wondering which part of the whopper will be peeled off this time, since it is already skinned. There are even fears that skinning Wasake’s dongle afresh might come with some serious health complications. It has therefore been proposed that if Wasake wins the $200,000 grand prize money, elders will force him to pay a hefty fine of $100,000 for using anesthesia during Imbalu.

That means Wasake will end up with $75,000 since URA will tax $25,000 of the grand prize. After his many girlfriends have taken their share, Wasake will remain with a small fraction only enough to buy himself a packet of condoms and a few rounds of Tuskers. He will then call it a day!
