Confidence survives eviction

One of Ghana's representative in the Big Brother Africa (Amplified) reality show, Confidence, has survived eviction.

Confidence was up for eviction with five other housemates; Danny, Jossy, Vina, Weza and Vimbai.

The eviction show started with Zeus, Head of House, announcing formally whether he was saving himself or standing up for eviction. Vimbai was shocked to the bone when she realised that Zeus had decided to save himself and rather place her in his stead for eviction.

IK, host of the show, after that asked the six nominated housemates to leave the house and join him on stage.

As per the rules of the eviction, the housemate with the least number of votes gets evicted. The twist to today's eviction was that, the housemate with the second least number of votes joins The Tails House.

IK asked four housemates; Confidence, Vina, Weza and Vimbai to leave the stage. Left on the stage were Danny and Jossy who were utterly stunned and flummoxed.

Given the votes garnered by each housemate - Confidence, Danny and Jossy received one country vote each - organisers had to use a tie-breaking mechanism - percentage basis - to get the two housemates with the least number of votes.

Danny, who had the second least number of votes was asked to leave the stage. He joined The Tails House.

Jossy, the Recording Artiste, Marketing and Sales Manager from and Big Brother Africa representative from Windhoek, Namibia was announced the first housemate to be evicted from the show.
