Luclay and Karen Survived- Preaching Danny and Nic evicted from Big Brother house

The survival of the South African, Luclay, caused the audience to erupt into wild celebrations, the ladies leading the screaming

THE preaching Danny and Nic were evicted from the Big Brother Africa Amplified show last night.

Danny was the first to leave the house.

The 34-year-old fashion stylist from Addis Ababa, who was famous for taking time to preach to Luclay until he broke into tears, was evicted. But his new convert survived the axe.

He did not say why he thought he was evicted, but told presenter I.K. Osakioduwa: “I’d like to thank all my friends who supported me”.

But Danny admitted that he would miss Luclay.

When Osakioduwa asked him whom he thought had nominated him for eviction, Danny replied: “Maybe the girls”.

He was right. All the girls, and former head of the house Alex, nominated him.

Danny told Osakioduwa that it was Alex’s nomination which offended him the most.

The house was once again tense as Karen, Nic and Luclay’s names were called for nominees.

Karen and Luclay survived.

The survival of the South African, Luclay, caused the audience to erupt into wild celebrations, the ladies leading the screaming.

Nic, the 28-year-old television producer from Nairobi, seemed dressed for the part in his dark suit and gold tie.

“My favourite housemate was Kim. Because I got to know her. She is extremely intelligent,” he said.

Asked how he thought his relationship with Kim would affect her, he said: “It’s not that it was bad, but I did not come to the house to get into relationships.”

The eviction leaves 17 housemates vying for the $200000 (about R1,3million) prize.

There will be two winners this season.
