Miss P unaware of reported Zim tour


Former Big Brother Africa Amplified (BBAA) housemate Peo Sebotho, popularly known as Miss P, has professed ignorance over the much-publicised seven-day tour of Zimbabwe next month.
Newspaper reports in the neighbouring country are that BBAA ex-housemates are due in Zimbabwe on a seven-day tour that is expected to be packaged for television.

The tour has reportedly been dubbed “Still Amplified Zimbabwe Tour” and is to see the former housemates visit some of the country’s tourist spots and resort towns.
According to The Herald newspaper, the tour will be made possible by a company called Xtra Media Productions in consultation with Wendall Parson, who is the co-winner of the reality show. Wendall will assume the role of tourism ambassador to the ex-housemates. The week-long visit is scheduled for December 9-15, during which the group is also expected to go to Bulawayo and Victoria Falls, home of one of the seven wonders of the world, the mighty Victoria Falls. Some of the ex-housemates who are said to be part of the tour include South Africa’s Luclay, Vina of Nigeria, Uganda’s Sharon O, Confidence of Ghana, Ethiopian Hanni, Zambia’s pair of Mumba and Kim, Angolan Weza, and the Kenyan duo of Nick and Millicent.
Even so, Botswana’s Miss P has said she was not officially aware of the tour, as she only got to know about it through social networking site Facebook. But she added that she would not mind touring the neighbouring country.
“Well, I haven’t gotten my invite yet. But it wouldn’t be a problem, I’ve been to Zimbabwe before and I have relatives in Zimbabwe; so for me it wouldn’t be a problem,” she told Showbiz. She is, however, concerned that the report may mislead Zimbabweans if it is not true. “People in Zimbabwe will be looking forward to it and I’m not even aware of it,” she said. The ex-housemates are to wrap up the so-called tour in Gweru and Masvingo where they will see the Great Zimbabwe Ruins.
Xtra Media also hosted ex-BBAA All Stars’ housemates last year but got a tongue lashing from the likes of Paloma who were unhappy about the treatment. The same company is organising the envisaged tour.

Confidence Haugen, Ghana’s female representative evicted from Big Brother Africa Amplified contest, yesterday denied reports that she went nude during her stay in the Big Brother House.
