Zambian sensation Miriam Mukape, better known as Mampi performed at the Uhuru Festival in Zimbabwe yesterday (17 April). The independence celebrations featured the Big Brother Africastar alongside artists such as Jah Prayzah and Roki. Mampi and Roki boast a collaborative track ‘Go Crazy’.

Filmmaker Katung Aduwak is causing a stir with his debut full length feature, Heaven Hell. Aduwak, who scooped the Big Brother Nigeria title in 2006, roped in a stellar cast that includes AMVCA star OC Ukeje, Tinsel’s Gideon Okeke,  Fabian Lojede, Bimbo Akintola, Linda Ejiofior and Waje. Filmed on location in Nigeria and in the UK, Heaven Hell is expected to wrap filming this month.

Glam and style took centre stage when Big Brother Africa celeb, Confidence Haugen celebrated her 39th birthday on Monday 8th April. The star-studded shindig saw scores of Ghana’s A-list celebs including Efya, Juliet Ibrahim, Nadia Buari and Chris Attoh revel in style with the Amplified star.

Firebrand starlet, Karen Igho has joined the cast of drama series, Tinsel. The winner of Big Brother Africa Amplified made her debut on the show yesterday (3 April) and is already a knock-out hit.
Award winning artist and Big Brother Africa 2012 housemate, Lady May has buffed up her interaction with fans through her new official Twitter account @LadyMayNamFans. The Namibian siren started the account yesterday (3 April) which was already buzzing as she introduced herself, welcomed fans and also announced that her sixth studio album is coming soon.
03 April
Big Brother Africa and Mashariki Mix star, Nic Wang’ondu has revealed his excitement at the prospect of becoming a dad. Speaking to DStv.com, Nic said he and his partner are focusing on the baby who’s due around 21 May. “I’m ready for it and quite excited actually,” he said.

Confidence Haugen, Ghana’s female representative evicted from Big Brother Africa Amplified contest, yesterday denied reports that she went nude during her stay in the Big Brother House. Though what appears to be a photograph of her being nude featured on the front pages of several Ghanaian newspapers, Confidence told a packed news conference at the Golden Tulip Hotel that she never ever showed her nudeness. “I did not go nude and what went on in the House was not a sexual thing, just hilarious.
