How Upset Should Maneta Be About The Maneta Song?

Image
Fada Wemangoma has come up with a song that says some really uncomplimentary things about a girl called Maneta. Now if he had simply named a random girl Maneta much as he could use a random crutch like Tendai or Blessing, that would be all very well and good. That could have been his argument. Maneta by the way was a Zimbabwean character on Big Brother StarGame who was disqualified together with fellow countryman Roki for violence. Except, Fada, has gone on to mention her in the song and says some rather cruel things based on insinuations. In essence he calls her a drunken man-eating slut who should be trashed.

GOLDIE’S TAKE ON FEAR AND FUN

Image
Goldie Harvey is a Nigerian Musician. She also represented her country in the recently concluded Big Brother Africa reality show. She was recently in Kenya visiting fellow housemate and lover Prezzo . Here is her take on the Hot Secrets one liner interview… I’m good at… ………Cooking and Singing. I’m actually good at everything I try out. I’m very bad at …… pretending. People can actually see right through me. The last book l enjoyed was……….. Amusement Part Rollercoaster by Cotton Candy. The most surprising thing that happened to me …….leaving Big Brother abruptly. I must admit that I did not see it coming. A common misconception of me is ….that I’m unapproachable. Maybe its because of my quiet nature. One of my worst childhood fears was ………… cockroaches. I still fear them to date. My ideal night out is …………. Good company, nice wine and great food. Nothing could beat that. In another life l’d have been ……. a president.

2face And Uti Nwachukwu Among Others, Honoured By Oba Of Benin

Image
Uti & 2Face Hardwork, perseverance and dedication to one’s art will always be recognized sooner or later. Not minding his relatively young age or state of origin, the Oba of Benin Kingdom, Oba Uku Akpolokpolo Erediauwa yesterday in Benin, Edo state gave honour to whom it was due as he recognized and honored African pop icon Innocent “2face” Idibia. The event which celebrated the ‘Oba of Benin as a Preserver’ was attended by a number of personalities including Big Brother Africa winner Uti Nwachukwu and Nollywood movie producer Lancelot Imaseun Oduwa amongst others. The 37-year-old musician who was one of few personalities so honoured by the Oba, was given two wrist bands made of beads. A very excited 2face took to his Twitter page to show off his beads while he wrote; ‘Oba of Benin just gave me some royal beads! I’m so excited and honoured! One love 2 Benin kingdom’.

I Didn’t Endorse Prez Mahama – DKB

Image
I have noticed with worrying consent how a news item carrying information claiming I endorsed President John Mahama for the 2012 elections which is causing serious havoc to my personality. I was recommend as an m.c for the launch of VFM (Volunteers For Mahama) due to my expertise in manning events with humorous antics of which I delivered to satisfaction. I would not run away from those comments I made, I totally own up to them. However I need to clear the air on this issue; I was an m.c not a volunteer, As an m.c I must endeavour to not only inform the audience

Karen Igho Dares Men!

Image
Entertainment personality and Co-winner of the sixth season of Africa’s biggest reality competition ‘Big Brother Africa’ 2011, Karen Igho is certainly not a hard knot to crack when it comes to falling in love. In fact, the Edo State born entertainer describes herself as ” a woman who desires to be loved and wooed by the opposite sex.” Speaking exclusively with WG on her love life, Karen expressed disappointment that men are not bracing up to woo her, despite the fact that she is not as difficult as they think.
